On-Line Training Provided Through CCEI
(Child Care Education Institute)
CCR&R is pleased to partner with the Child Care Education Institute to offer online professional development courses that meet DCFS licensing training requirements. Online training opportunities offered include both one and two hour in service credit course. Some classes are available in Spanish.
Professional development coursework is delivered through an online learning management system that provides user-friendly enrollment, easy access to courses, and a self-paced engaging online learning environment for students. Professionals can take courses from any computer with Internet access, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Certificates can be printed immediately upon completion of the training module.
Individuals may complete up to two hours of workshops each year, free of charge. A small fee is charged for any additional workshops for which they want to register.

Preschool Registration: Open registration for new community students at Prairie Children Preschool is held in January. Only mail-in registrations are accepted. Because there is a waiting list for the school, a lottery for enrollment will be held, based on the postmark dates of received forms. For more information, visit the school's website.
Elementary Registration: Students in grades K-5 register at the elementary school in their attendance area. To find out which school your child would attend, please find your school in our boundary map packet or look it up on our subdivision list. Please contact the school to arrange a time to pick up the registration packet and enroll the student.

Parents/guardians of new students to District 129 should contact the Central Registration Office after May 1, 2013 to schedule a registration appointment.
